The success of this project will depend on the response of the potential partner schools. The mother academy cannot fulfill its mission without the partner schools because the intended trainees are only out of school for few weeks that is in holidays and parents are busy trying to make ends meet. Therefore the only universal place for training a whole person is the school.
We are already in the process of applying for grants to supplement on the individual contribution.
Secondly it would be costly to provide such training to individual students when they are out of school. That’s why it’s important for this project to be implemented when the learners are still in school. When they leave our institutions without a particular specialized skill life becomes difficult for them to live out of school.
Lastly the survival schools in education business will depend on the value they add on the learner in terms of skills training besides the formal curriculum which has exponentially become examination centred. The school can earn revenue when training is made open to outsiders especially in holidays.
